One PinkRoom Team... 15 medals...!!

The results for Nailympics Asia 2012 is out~! 

EVERYONE IN THE PINKROOM TEAM WON!

WE HAD 15 MEDALS IN TOTAL...

including 2 First Place, 1 Second Place, 2 Third Place & 3 Forth Place!! 

Woohoo!! Really proud and happy for everyone. I guess the happiest would be every student who won!! It was most student's first attempt competing in those category overseas; not to mention having to compete against so many competitors from Japan, Korea, Russia, Hong Kong, Italy and Ukraine. There were like 200 competitors for just some categories alone. 

A BIG pat-on-the-back from emerging among such stiff competition!! 

CONGRATS GALS!!

Of course...happiness too for Principal Rachel, Master Educator Joe and Senior Educator Nicole for their training, encouragements, corrections, advice, reminders, nagging and arrangements for the whole competition trip... \(^.^)/!

Congratulations to the PinkRoom team!

Nailympics Asia 2012 happening today!

Super excited about the Nailympics Asia nail competition as it is the first Nailympics in Asia. The competition is held in Seoul Korea. We saw competitors from Japan, Russia, Hong Kong, Italy and Ukraine.... and of course Korea. 

The big competition hall and international competitors made all of us very worried... especially since Japan and Korea was very well-known for their perfect nails!

It was an eye-opening event as it was much much bigger than any of the competition our students took part in in the past. There were a whole panel of International Judges from Japan, Korea, Switzerland, Denmark, Ukraine, Russia, Italy, Hong Kong and our Principal Rachel Tang representing Singapore. Head judge Lysa Comfort presides to ensure fair and just judging for this prestigious international competition event...

Being part of a female-dominated nail industry, PinkRoom sees women of all ages walking in and out of our academy door every single day! As such, we see the need to raise awareness as females are at a higher risk of developing breast cancer.

Dear girls, please share your knowledge with everyone around you~ Your Mom, grandma, aunts, sisters, daughters, cousins, girlfriends... Remember early detection will prevent painful treatments & even death!

8 month ago,

12 of us met in a little classroom

We all join PinkRoom for different reason, 

because someone who don't know how to cut nails, 

because someone who wanted to open salon, because someone who wanted to have pretty nails.. all kinda reason.

Happy Classroom Memories~~

Laughter never fail to be heard from the classroom when classes are going on. 

You'll always be able to tell if a "new" or "old" class is going on. You'll hear the occasional giggles on the first day of class. After weeks had passes, those shy giggles would have turned into loud thunderous laughter! Hahaha!

Classes are so much more fun with friends to learn with you.
