Mid-Week Feature with Eriko-san & Rachel:

 

Eriko Kurosaki is a well-known figure in the nail industry in Japan. With her charismatic nature and 'kawai' style, she has since been featured on multiple TV shows and magazines. Eriko and Rachel met by chance in a international nail competition when they were both the invited judges. 

As both are very passionate about nails and nail trends, the two professionals hit it off immediately. Soon, ideas and collaboration concepts were formed. Both agreed that the exchange of Japan's and Singapore's nail knowledge would be greatly advantageous for each other! This is also why Eriko was invited down to be a nail educator to Pink Room students for a day. It was a rare and unique chance for Pink Room student!

Eriko and Rachel has been friends since that fortunate competition and more is yet to come! Eriko Kurosaki is a well-known professional that is extremely skilled in her nail art techniques, rising to fame and has became a celebrity that is well-liked by Japan's nail fanatics. Eriko has been invited to The Pink Room International Nail Academy (PRINA) during Pink Room's 10th anniversary Pink Party Birthday Bash and Pink Room Cup as a guest as well as a judge. 

Pink Room's Principal, Ms. Rachel Tang, met Ms. Eriko on a International nail competition as both were invited to be judges. With their passion for nails as a common topic, they hit it off immediately and soon, these two nail-crazed business ladies are sharing ideas of integrated Japan's and Singapore's nail culture.

PINK ROOM OPEN HOUSE COMING UP NEXT MONDAY!

With over 10 years of experience, Pink Room has provided our students with carefully scrutinzied and tested syllabus courses and diploma education. Having trained many manicurists in Singapore, our ultimate goal for each and every student is for them to be a confident manicurist at the end of the day so that when they were to expand as a salon owner, they'll be ready to handle the challenges ahead.

CONDUCTING MELODY PRO CLASS AGAIN!!

Due to high demand, PinkRoom will be conducting the Melody Pro Nail Art Class again!

Not many of you know know about the Sanrio character, My Melody, but I'm sure My Melody has garnered lots of fans and audiences just by its 'kawaii' appearance. Spotting its signature red/pink hood and long bunny ears, My Melody has captured the attention of many women ranging from 12-years-old to 40-years-old and above! 

PinkRoom is pretty certain that such a 'kawaii' cartoon character design is high in demand in nail salons and especially sought for among some customers. Hence, PinkRoom is conducting the Melody Pro Nail Class in three different levels, on three different days:

In Nail Up! Vol.57, the Nail Up! editorial team has traveled down to Singapore and interviewed Pink Room regarding the first TAT pop-up store and PinkRoom's Shoppink Room. 

Focusing not only on PinkRoom, the editorial team did a little feature about the culture and must-go places in Singapore too! There's the famous chicken rice with special soaked rice that leaves one wanting for more and the symbolic Merlion statue that is a fusion of a lion and mermaid. The team also headed down to the newly opened Universal Studios! Though they claimed that it is very much the same as the one in Japan, I'm sure there is still some differences installed that has given them a pleasant surprise ~

There are no words as to how proud PinkRoom truly is about our graduates' achievements. So when our graduates' salons are voted as Singapore's most popular nail salons, the swell of pride we have for them as well as for our motto in providing quality nail classes is truly amazing. 

Juup Nails has a pleasant and relaxing interior, managed by one of PinkRoom's graduate, Ms. Chu Wen. Ms. Chu Wen has always been a friendly and hardworking student at PinkRoom, her work has been meticulous and her nail techniques are of quality as well! Similar to Ms Chu Wen, after going through hours of practicing and self-study, they have emerged as nail professionals. PINK ROOM PINK OPEN HOUSE

PinkRoom is all hyped up for this Saturday's Open House! We have already received many registrations and enquiries about it, hence, we are calling all nail fanatics to NOT miss this chance.

As of 19 August 2011, The Pink Room International Nail Academy is a registered Private Education Institution (PEI) with the Council of Private Education in Singapore under Section 36(1) of the Private Education Act and our diploma is registered under the Ministry of Education (MOE).

We aim to deliver high quality nail class, hence, our syllabus has been scrutinised and constantly updated. Setting high standards for ourselves, we do not compromise on our student's class time and we encourage our students to come for make up classes whenever they miss a class to ensure that they do not miss out any nail tips or techniques.

Their result reflects on our reputation. Pink Roomhas hired dedicated and patient nail educators to teach our students. Specially trained and selected, we are very strict with our educators as a good nailist does not make him or her a good teacher.

WE LOVE FRIDAYS! (TGIF)

Unless the skies are pouring and a car whizzed past you, splashing puddles of muddy water on you just as you're on your way to the most important job interview of you life, your Friday should be pretty awesome. 

This week has been pleasant atPink Room and we see more and more of our student coming in for self-study too! Yippee~ Our goal is to produce top-notch nailists who will be confident with their skills in future and I'm glad that our girls here are taking things much more seriously as their nail examinations is (looming) coming up!

PinkRoom takes professionalism seriously and our campus ensures that ample space is always available to our students for hands-on practice. SO, we urge all Pink Room students to work hard and we pray that you girls (you know who you girls are (;) will kick-ass at the examination!

Sorry girls, but when you spill drinks and food all over in the classrooms, PinkRoom HAD to think of a solution. After all, practising nail art also means we need to ensure a hygienic and sanitised learning area for all. SO, we actually brought in a little table for all our students to put their food and beverages before going into the class! Don't worry, no one will steal your food and drinks ;) We swear.
