Nail Academy !

Sorry for the lack of updates .

Have been busy with school .

Started my 1st lesson at school 2 weeks ago ..

Really enjoyed school , making new friends and learn new things .

Everyday I was hoping it is Tues and Thurs because it is school day !

Rush for lesson straight after work without having dinner .. so during lesson I must press my stomach to prevent it from making any noise .

*laughs*

I'm spending a lot of $$$ since the first lesson of school ,

I bought nail art pen , nail art paint , fake nail tips and some nail tools ..

Learn how to draw basic nail art in school ..

Let me show you the nail art I try to drew at hm ..

I will practice more and improve my nail art !!

I want to learn acrylic and gel soon ..

I've found a Part Time Receptionist Job @ a Local Nail Salon in Orchard!! ^^
And why am I so happy about it? Reason is because after being jobless for 2 months plus I finally hold a stable job in the local Nail industry! The reason why I can't start off directly as Nail Technician is because I've not attended the most important and basic modules yet which I estimate to be completed by end of this October!

Meanwhile, I'll just start off working happily as a Receptionist since I've got so much experience in this area and at the same time check out my prospect in the company ya.If the prospect is good and the environmentis friendly, I will give up my previous thoughts of working as a freelancer and stay in the company to work together with my seniorsssss which I'm so surprise when I was being told that they all graduated from my school!

This only prove one things, my school is god damn good man!
*Proud to chose the right Academy*

*Left : Next Monday gonna start work lo!! Must eat more mushroom like Mario so that I could become stronger ~ *hehe*

Random School Days

I am going to complete all my modules soon! *mad happy*
But I am not yet all prepared for my exam. As I still needs to go back to my school for more self-practice and self-study. Hex . . . that's me you know. I don't fight a battle without getting all prepared with confidence. I rather don't go to battle till I am confidence of winning it :)

Anyway here's a sneak preview of my mini tools box which I dump everything inside and dragged it to school last 2 weeks ago as I thought that it is our mock exam! End up it is only briefing for that day and salon management lesson *faint* FML for being such a blur sotong man.

I am so shocked when I see all my classmates coming to school with their handbags only and NOTHING else! Needless to say . . . they laugh at me a little BUT it's alright cause they mean no harm and luck was on my side because coincidentally there is an empty locker available for rent as the other student has cancel her rental. *Woohoo!* Mad happy at that moment cause there are only a total of 9 locker only and I am finally one of the lucky one! Immediately I pay for the locker rental to the school and dump my whole tools box in it!

And these are what I learn to draw and paint recently :

I do not know why but somehow I find that my Teacher (on the bottom right) look like the Panda he drew on the whiteboard?! LOL. No offence of course, it is just my thought which my friend, Catherine agreed with me too when she saw this pix. *Hex*

Whenever I look at this 'Panda Family Photo' I would laugh at it as it reminds me of a joke my classmate told us. She said that the Panda on the left is Papa Panda and Mama Panda is on the right. Both of them look very upset because their only child which is in the middle is born retarded that's why the child keep smiling and laughing while they look damn sad. LOL!!!

And this was taken last Friday during my Air Brush lesson with part of my classmate. Most of them didn't come to school that day as some of them went to KL to attend the Nails and Beauty exhibition which I am so tempted to go too but BF forbid me to travel overseas w/o him hence what to do? FML

BEHIND THE SCENES: i-feel magazine photo-shoot

Many are curious what happens behind the scenes in the production of a magazine spread or television commercial to give you the picture perfect final product you see daily on TV, Catwalks, Magazines, etc.

Before nails, Ms Rachel.T was in the biz of the glam-production you see daily; letz just say what you see is not necessary the same glam behind the scenes... 

Nowadays, i seldom DIY whenever there are photo-shoot requests, but instead mentor & teach my trainers/graduate students how to do it. It'll give them opportunities to experience these "glam-jobs" instead. Would post more of such jobs done... 

Well here's a little peek of the last photo-shoot blog-post few weeks ago. For the magazine: i-feel's Sunshine Babe photo spread. 

Nailtips must be prepared before the shoot...for this case, we would also be doing a step-by-step.

The nailtips for final photo-shoot are shaped & fitted onto the model...hmm, we teach these techniques in NA1 class. the PinkRoom standard...nailtips are totally customized to the cuticle line..Yeap!! Must look like real...

Yeap!! This is how it always looks behind the scene.. it's not a real beach ok...haha!!usually the model to enter the scene setup last.. after everything is setup. 

After the model is in placed, she is basically treated as part of the props & the professional lighting-man, make-up, camera-man,etc. would arrange & move everything in place for the perfect shot...

Hehe... see how "comfortable" she is lying on the "beach" with our nice nice nails...lol!super professional!!
