Gel Polish Nails & Cotton Wool

In this photo, the nails are polished with thin layer of colored gel.(See link for more info..)
Held in the hands are some cotton bolls I've bought from my last Tokyo trip. So soft & cute cotton bolls, dun think I've seen any in S'pore though.. Stuffed 2 stalks into my luggage on my way back from Japan, itz my favourite flower for now..haha.

Was juz chatting about cotton on msn.. realized that most of us city dwellers do not know how cotton looks like or how itz grown.. on trees? some asked..hehe.
It's amazing how we've taken for granted something so simple in our lives, our cotton t-shirts, bedsheets, cotton pads, towels, etc. .. all come from this cute little plant.

About Cotton:(extracted from:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cotton)
Cotton is a soft, fluffy, staple fiber that grows in a form known as a boll around the seeds of the cotton plant. The fiber most often is spun into yarn or thread and used to make a soft, breathable textile, which is the most widely used natural-fiber cloth in clothing today.
