This is the reason why I am addicted to classic manicures:
I just LOVE the look of cuticles that are all cleaned up, leaving a
beautiful curve at the base of the nail. The perfect base for polish!
Imagine trying to paint nails that have overgrown cuticles getting in
the way – it would be near impossible to apply the polish beautifully!
For the first time in my life, I did a thorough DIY cuticle removal
on myself using proper salon processes, tools and products. This was
done during a class at Pink Room, when we had to DIY on our left hand,
then service a friend’s right hand. I forgot to take a “before
picture”!!! 
I also forgot to take pictures of my friend’s hand, before AND after.
I guess I got too carried away… it was really fun. I also felt really
happy because Teacher Nicole nodded at my work (both my own hand and my
friend’s) and said I did a good job, very clean. Yay!
