I’m SO sorry! I’m swamped and up to my neck in work. 
Thursday is the earliest I can post a new design, because that’s when I’ll have the time to redo my nails. In the meantime, here’s a guide to perfect polishing based on what I’ve learnt in my Pink Room course.
First, gather a bead of polish – just enough to cover the entire nail – and place it in the centre of the nail, a little distance away from the base of the nail. Push it upwards to cover the base of the nail, then slide it down again to the tip.
Next, starting from the top again, move the brush from the centre to the side of the nail, curving it as you round the corner of the base. Once you’ve rounded the corner, slide the brush down again.
Repeat this step for the other side of the nail.
Once that’s done, you may need to run your brush down the middle again to even out the polish.
Once you’ve covered the nail with polish, seal the free edge of the nail with polish.
Finish off with a second coat of colour. This time, you don’t need to seal the free edge.
This technique applies for the base and top coat as well – seal the free edge!
If you’re applying polish on a larger nail surface, such as the big toenail, you’ll need to split the nail into more sections. More on that tomorrow!
