這是我的第一次

On 16th April, I had my first experience on gel. i had not done any gel in salon or play with it before. Hence from school, I have signed up for Angel Pro Gel Manicure Course. This is an additional course and i hesitate for some time before i decide to go for it.

As many can say gelish (gel+polish) is simple, jus apply like polish. Since school started, approximate 2 months, i am still in my first module. Yes. Basic knowledge is important and you need solid foundation before you can start doing naily for others.

This is a totally wrong statement and things are more complicated than you think.

this course provide us some basic understanding, teaching us the correct method and technique of simple nail art. And gel nail art is different from polish. My Diploma course cover gel extension but not manicure, and me as a total noob towards gel, i wish to learn in-depth of e full process. This gel course is also e fundamental course before i can take up a Angel Pro trainer course. e Trainer course will allow me to equip with proper skill before i can teach others. I love to share and teach people =)
Lets spread and share e naily love~~

Before i start any naggy story, let me show you what i got from this course!

Some nail art learnt from class!
I used the six colors from the given set, but i use white and brown polish to complete the lace on the roses (1st from left), and the bear's feature (3rd from left).
These colors are more pastel in actual. The color might had some changes as i need to use strong lighting in e night to capture these.
Marbling!
the technique used on polish and gel are totally different. My first marbling was "overflow"!
With better understanding of e gel texture, on my 2nd try, it was much better. I can better estimate e amount needed. But of coz, there are still lottas room for improvement.

6 Colors with some basic stuffs!  Of coz 6 is not enough for me. So next day in school, i bought additional 15 bottles!

With new member to e family, i need some storage space. Have yet think of a proper place for them.
(my cupboard was full of my polishes) this is a temporary solution... i found a pretty box to store up my gel.
Gel colors aint cheap... But i can't resist e colors.. Have to slowly save up for e colors..
Color obsession !

New colors! Having total 21 colors now.. but some are out of stock..
on e waiting list =) Cant wait to have more colors!

Free hands-on use of 1Q32 Instant.Gellish colors for nailart designs

Free hands-on use of 1Q32 Instant.Gellish colors for nailart designs. Total of more than 144 colors... It is like drawing with paint, just that it does not dry-up no matter how long it is exposed to air; so students can take their own sweet time with their designs... But it does dries instantly to high shine once under the UV/LED lamp! Cool yo~ (b^.^)b~*

KOI nails that "Glows-In-The-Dark"

Some time ago, I randomly did a set of nails to try out a "glow-in-the-dark" gel polish i was given to test.... it ended up looking like my favourite brand of bubble-tea!! You guess it...KOI Cafe !! My favorite is Grass Jelly Milk Tea with 70% sugar-level.. I am not paid to endorse them, it's just that all good stuff must be shared...^.~

So the next time you run out of ideas for nail-art, just ask for KOI-Nails!!! Haaahaaaa.....
Have fun!!
This is how the nails look with normal lights.... This is how the nails look without lights... Cool right?!
The gel polish needs to soak up normal white light in order for it to glow in the dark...

"Behind-the-scene"... yeap! yeap! photos were taken with my good'o blackberry phone...LOL

Mad Hatter's Tea Party...

===============================
Cupcakes and Ribbons...so inspired by Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, especially the Hatter's Tea Party.
Go catch the movie if you've not already.Extracted from Chelsea's blog again coz I'm so swamped with work to blog..anyway,her new Sony Camera is more "intelligent" than mine..haha.
Did a super kawaii design to match her new LGLollipop phone.
The entire design was done onto her real nails. Her previous "valentine's days" nails was soak-off and cleansed. You can see her growth area, this AnGel-Pro is super effective to help one grow longer nails...I think it's bcoz it's not as hard as acrylic, thus gals tend to "dun-mind-it-on-the-nails"...

HOW TO:
The base of the nails are created using
AnGel-Pro's BABYDOLL RAINBOW series:RBB02(Pink) & White(Starter Kit).
Wanted to use RBB01(Light Pink), but the color does not contrast with the white, so end up using RBB02.
The 3D kawaii nail art is done using the latest ANGEL PRO Acrylic Powder
coz the colors are very cute & sweet.

Sunday, March 14
130310 - The Sun provided such good lighting thus I took the chance to take a few pics of my pretty nails =)

120310 - I was at PinkRoom to soak off my CNY nails after 5 weeks~~ Done with Angel Pro Soak Off Gel~~

Feels funny because I haven't seen my nails for some time. Hehehe. And it's so long now!!

We started at 3+pm. Soak off. Clean the cuticles. Started doing the nails. Dilly dally here and there.

Rachel did this set of ultra super duper kawaii yummylicious suppy cake nailart on my natural nails~!

OMG. I'm going to flood this post with pictures because I'm so in love with it!!

Love the thumb.

Doing nails with Rachel is so fun... cause we kept talking about nonsensical stuff. And about the Jack Neo scandal. Wahahaha. And she wants to buy the Lollipop phone, after seeing how cute it is. =)

And guess what time we ended..... close to midnight. Oh. I just checked the time. And it's passed midnight!!

We packed up, and went for supper at River Valley. We wanted to share the fish and chips, and the banana ice cream tissue prata. But we forgo the prata as we were too full after the fish and chips.
